Hannah Ianniello is a novelist, screenwriter and songwriter who has been working professionally in the creative arts for fourteen years. Beginning her career as a musician and songwriter, through her studies she expanded her work to include poetry, novels and academic research.
In addition, through collaboration with her husband, the acclaimed film maker Marco Ianniello, Hannah has expanded her writing forms to include screenwriting for both film and television and has several projects in development.
SCREENWRITING
12 Point Writing is the platform for Hannah's collaborative work with her husband, Marco Ianniello.
RECENT NEWS: 'Day's End: Higher Ground' (one hour TV pilot) was selected for the second round of the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition!
Hannah was the recipient of the award for Best Short Screenplay from the West Field Screenwriting Awards 2013. The award was given to the short film, Hush, which she co-wrote with her husband, Marco Ianniello - an award winning documentary film maker and director.

Hannah has studied writing at a university level for more than ten years with qualifications including:

Hannah is also a lecturer and tutor in Sydney. She is committed to education and the development of creative work and creative thinking. Her blog includes notes on the way she works, edits and develops her material for publication, performance and screenings.
