Screenwriting
With her origins as a professional musician, Hannah’s shift towards screenwriting has been a natural progression in many ways as the format bridges the gap between the complexities of novel writing and the economical, succinct narrative poetry of song writing.

In 2010, Hannah co-wrote and co-produced at 26min short film, Hush. The film was a collaborative project for Hannah and her husband Marco Ianniello and was produced by their production company, Broken Pictures.

Starring Kate Box, Ben Brock and Kim Knucky, Hush was shot on location in the Hunter Valley. Launched in August of 2011, the film had is official premiere at the Victoria Film Festival in Canada in early 2012.
In 2013, the screenplay of the film was the recipient of the award for Best Short Screenplay in the West Field Screenwriters Awards.
